The Oliv New York office is in the World Trade 7 building and during my time there, it has been surrounded by a mass building site as the area is redeveloped after the tragic events of 9/11. The on-going construction and the structures that will come from it, for better or worse, will have a great impact on the city as it recovers from it's most dire moment in history. This intrigued me greatly, so I begun to document the construction, focusing mainly on the World Trade Centre Hub on my lunch breaks.
The video above is a teaser of the work so far, which I plan to develop into a short documentary discussing themes of regeneration, identity and legacy.
After a year and a half of documentation, I have over 5,000 photos and counting.
